Наукова біографія

Закінчила географічний факультет Львівського державного університету імені Івана Франка у 1981 (диплом з відзнакою). У 1981-1985 роках – лаборант кафедри фізичної географії Львівського державного університету імені Івана Франка. У 1985 – 1991 роках – науковий співробітник кафедри картографії геолого-географічного факультету Тбіліського державного університету (Грузія). У 1991 – 1994 роках – асистент кафедри фізичної географії Львівського державного університету імені Івана Франка. У 1994 році захистила кандидатську дисертацію “Ландшафтно-геофізичний аналіз високогірних лісових ландшафтів Кавказу” в Інституті географії Академії наук України. У 1995-2009 роках – доцент кафедри фізичної географії Львівського національного університету імені Івана Франка. З 2007 року – науковий співробітник факультету лісових наук Шведського університету сільськогосподарських наук. З 2020 року – доцент (0,25 ставки) кафедри фізичної географії географічного факультету Львівського національного університету імені Івана Франка.

  • У 2000 – 2001 роках –  стипендіат програми Фулбрайта– стажувалась в Університеті Сіракуз, штат Нью-Йорк, США.
  • У 2003 році – стипендіат Німецької програми академічних обмінів (DAAD) у Німеччині: дослідження екологічного сільського господарства та сталого управління лісами у біосферному заповіднику Шорфхайде-Хорін.
  • З 1991 року – член Українського географічного товариства.
  • У 2015-2018 роках – головний автор-координатор Міжурядової платформи з питань біорізноманіття та екосистемних послуг (IPBES) (висунута урядом Швеції)
  • З 2019 року – голова Комісії з ландшафтного аналізу та ландшафтного планування Міжнародного Географічного Союзу
