In 2000, graduated from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, the Faculty of Geography. In 2003, completed his postgraduate studies. In 2003—2007, worked as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of  Geomorphology and Paleogeography. In 2007—2010, was a lecturer at the Department of Tourism, the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Since 2010, has been working as an associate professor at the aforementioned department. In 2013, received an academic title of an associate professor at the Department of Tourism.
