Course description

The discipline “Methods of tour development” is a normative discipline in the specialty 242 Tourism for the bachelor’s degree program, which is planned in the 8-th term of the 4-th year and comprises 4 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer System ECTS).

This course covers the study of recreational and tourist resources, organization and conduct of tours, natural and cultural attractions and their influence on tourist interest, tourism development programs in Ukraine.
This course has a purely practical focus. It is designed for senior students with a certain theoretical basis after studying a set of special disciplines, as: tourism resources, organization and economics of tourism, basics of tourism, hospitality, basics of marketing and management.
Its methodology involves mandatory practical consolidation of theoretical material.
