The discipline “Concepts of development of cultural and cognitive tourism” is the final normative discipline in the specialty 242 Tourism for the master’s educational program, which is planned in the 1-st term and comprises 4 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer System ECTS).

This course covers issues of organizing and conducting cultural and educational tours, protection and use of cultural and historical heritage, cultural attractions and their influence on enhancing tourist interest, programs for the development of cultural tourism in Ukraine.
This course has a purely practical orientation. It is designed for senior students who have already had a certain theoretical basis after studying a set of special disciplines, as tourism resources, organization and economics of tourism, hospitality systems, basics of marketing and management. Its methodology involves the mandatory practical consolidation of the theoretical material.
