Course description

he “MET” is an elective discipline in the specialty 242 Tourism for the bachelor’s degree program, which is planned in the 8-th term of the 4-th academic year for four credits (according to the European Credit Transfer and Transfer System ECTS).

This course covers issues of studying military historical and cultural resources, theoretical foundations of military tourism, organizing and conducting military-historical tours, protection and use of historical and cultural heritage, cultural military attractions and their impact on enhancing tourism interest, MET development programs in Ukraine.
This course has both theoretical and practical focus. It is developed for senior students who have already had a certain theoretical basis after studying a set of special disciplines, as tourism resources, organization and economics of tourism, basics of tourism, historical and cultural tourism, castle tourism, etc. Its methodology involves mandatory practical consolidation of the theoretical material.
