Course description
The «World Hotel and Restaurant Industry» course is a normative discipline within speciality No. 241 «Hotel and Restaurant Industry» for educational program No. 4 «Service». It is taught in the 2nd term in the amount of 5 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System, ECTS). Its goal is to help students form special professional knowledge about some theoretical principles of the world hotel and restaurant industry, peculiarities of event organization, functioning of infrastructure, and organization of tourist services by hotel and restaurant establishments, as well as studying the particularities of hospitality functioning within different regions all over the world.
