Course description

“The art of advertising” is a selective discipline in the cycle of general bachelors training. It can be chosen by any student of the university who is studying for the 4th semester of the bachelor’s degree. The volume of the discipline is 4 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer System ECTS).

The curriculum of the course provides students with the basic laws of the modern advertising industry as a unique marketing tool that establishes, maintains and develops communications between producers and consumers, intermediaries, contact audiences.

After completing this course, the student will be able to decide on the need for advertising, create advertising appeals, choose priority means of dissemination of advertising, evaluate its effectiveness, make an advertising budget. Students who take the course “Art of Advertising”, in addition to mastering the basics of advertising and information activities, will also learn about the most interesting examples of successful advertising developed by leading global and Ukrainian companies, learn the basics of image and brand management.
