Course description

The discipline “Corporate Management in Tourism” is an elective discipline for students majoring in 242 “Tourism”, the educational program for a master’s degree. It is taught in the 1st semester in the amount of 4 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer System ECTS).

The curriculum of the course provides consideration of the basic concepts of corporate management, its subjects and objects, features of the tourism business.
The course presents an overview of the basic principles of functioning of corporate enterprises, the regulatory framework of their activities, the specifics of building management bodies, the specifics of the stock market.

After completing this course the student will be able to: organize the work of corporate enterprises, including limited liability companies and joint stock companies, navigate the property relations in the corporate enterprise, the stock market, and the specifics of securities.
