Evolution, structure, dynamics and optimization of geocomplexes of the Ukrainian Carpathians and the Western Ukrainian region

• We did our studies in several interconnected fields: 1) development of the methodology for integrated geoecological research; 2) study of the morphology and dynamics of the Carpathian forest geocomplexes; 3) study on the variability of hydrometeorological indicators of geocomplexes in connection with the dynamics of avalanches and of other extreme processes and situations; 4) analysis of the recreational-touristic potential of geocomplexes. The study results are published as monographs and articles, some in ISI journals.
