Course description

“Natural resources and recreational complexes of the world” is a normative discipline for students majoring in “Tourism” educational program for bachelors, which is taught in 1-2 semesters in the amount of 5 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer System ECTS). The subject of study of the discipline is the study of the territorial location of recreational complexes of the world and natural resources. The purpose of studying the discipline is the formation of knowledge and skills to analyze the potential of recreational complexes in the world and the acquisition of practical skills to assess the mechanisms of their effective functioning. The main tasks of studying the discipline “Natural resources and recreational complexes of the world” are: the study of the main recreational areas and complexes of Ukraine and the world; determining the features of the functioning of recreational complexes and modern directions of use of territories for rest and sanitation.
