Course description

“Master’s seminar” is the final normative discipline in the specialty 242 “Tourism” for the educational program “Master”, which is taught in the 3rd semester in the amount of 3 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer System ECTS). Providing students with the necessary knowledge required to master practical and theoretical approaches in scientific work. The course equips an overview of the concepts and methods of scientific research, as well as the processes and tools required for scientific work. The purpose of this course is to form in students a systematic set of knowledge about the general principles, forms and methods of scientific research in tourism in order to write and design  master’s thesis on the basis of scientific research results. Students get acquainted with modern areas of research and stages of research work.
