Course description

The discipline “Marketing” is a normative discipline for students majoring in 242 “Tourism”, a bachelor’s degree program. It is taught in 5th and 6th semesters in the amount of 5 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer System ECTS).

The curriculum of the course provides consideration of the basic concepts of marketing, elements of the marketing complex, and features of marketing research.
The course provides an overview of the basics and principles of marketing, and tools for managing marketing activities.

After completing this course the student will be able to: arrange effective marketing of the enterprise, organize marketing research, develop a system of marketing activities, choose effective sales channels, and use the means of marketing communications.
