He graduated in geography faculty of Lviv University (1983), postgraduate studies in Moscow university (1992). In 1983-92 geologist, head of party of North Kamchatka geological development expeditions; 1992-94 Science collaborator. NDL-51, since 1995 Assoc. prof. of Geomorphology and Paleogeography dep. of Lviv University, since 2021 Associate Professor of Tourism dep. Lviv university.
