The Memorial Day of the Hero of the Heavenly Hundred by Ihor Kostenko

On January 20, 2020, the Faculty of Geography honored Hero of Ukraine, Hero of the Heavenly Hundred, Ihor Kostenko, who died in the battles on Institutska Street during the Revolution of Dignity on February 20, 2014. Heroes do not die!

Ihor Kostenko (born December 31, 1991, Zubrets, Buchach district, Ternopil region, Ukraine – died February 20, 2014, Kyiv, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian journalist, student geographer, Euromaidan activist, Ukrainian Wikipedia contributor. In two and a half years he has created over 280 articles, made over 1600 edits. He also took an active part in promoting Wikipedia on social media through which he tried to attract new contributors. He studied at the 5th year of the Faculty of Geography, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, majoring in Organization Management.
