The Faculty of Geography graduate of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (1983), postgraduate (1993). Engineer of the research laboratory -50 (1983-1984), engineer of Alpine biological station (1984-1985), engineer (1986-1987), junior researcher (1987-1989), head of the laboratory of engineering and geomorphological research of the reseach unit (1989-1991), senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Geomorphology (1994-2004), head of the laboratory of geoinformation technologies (2005-2008), lecturer (2008-2010) , since 2011 Assoc. Prof. of Department of Physical Geography of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Head of the public environmental organization “Regional Agency for Sustainable Development”.
