Course description

The course “Ecological Management” is an elective discipline in the cycle of professional and practical training of the speciality 103 “Earth Sciences” of the second (master’s) level of higher education. The aim is to form students’ knowledge of the theory of the ecological management, practical skills and abilities for development and implementation of the ecological management system in the subjects of management in accordance with international standards. After completing this course students will know basic theoretical and practical basics of ecological management, stages and tools for implementation of ecological management system according to the standards of the series DSTU ISO 1400: 2025, domestic and international experience of ecological management system. The students will be able to develop and implement ecological management systems and to show a creative approach and leadership skills in the organization of educational activities among employees of enterprises / organizations during the support of the ecological management system.
