You are invited to participate in the proceedings of the International Scientific Conference “LVIV HUMAN GEOGRAPHY: DIMENSIONS, CHALLENGES, CONTEXTS”, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the prof. Oleh Shabliy Department of Economic and Social Geography, which will take place on October 23–24, 2025
THE CONFERENCE TOPICS
1. Prof. Oleh Shabliy – scientist, educator and leader of the Lviv scientific school of Human Geography.
2. Theory, methodology and methods of the new Human Geography.
3. Economic and Social Geography: problems of recovery and development strategies for Ukraine.
4. Demographic and migration challenges: trends, consequences and solutions.
5. Geoglobalistics and Regional Studies in the context of the World ordercrisis.
6. Geographical education: the enlightening role of Public Geography.
Participants in the conference will be granted a certificate of completion for a professional internship programme amounting to 1 ECTS credit (30 hours)
An electronic version of the conference proceedings will be transmitted to all participants along with a certificate
Working languages of the conference: Ukrainian, English
You are considered to comply with the following requirements by September 15, 2025:
1. Submit an academic paper, comprising 3–5 pages, formatted in accordance with the prescribed specifications (as detailed in the attached document).
2. Complete the electronic registration form for the conference attendees, accessible via the following link:

Publication of books of abstracts in electronic version is free of charge.
