Meeting of the Department of Hotel and Restaurant Business and Food Technologies with Ukrainian and Foreign University Partners on the Development of Educational Projects During and After the War

On January 21, 2025, an online meeting was held between Bogdan Krekhtun and Halyna Kushniruk, Associate Professors of the Department of Hotel and Restaurant Business and Food Technologies of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, and Olha Ishchenko, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages and Manager of International Educational Projects at Lviv National University of Environmental Sciences.

Milena Klimek (Project Manager, University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, Austria)
Prof. Ulrika K. Stigsdotter (University of Copenhagen, Denmark)
The main topic of discussion was developing essential competencies for students to work with war-affected individuals, internally displaced persons, and war veterans.
Participants discussed educational technologies that will help students prepare for effective work with these social groups, facilitating their adaptation in society.
This meeting was a significant step toward international collaboration and enhancing educational programs to address pressing social challenges.
