Course description
Normative monetary valuation of land is a discipline of professional and practical bachelors training in the specialty 103 “Earth Sciences” of the educational program “Soil Science and Expert Valuation of Land”. It is taught in the seventh semester in the amount of 2 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer System ECTS).
The purpose of the discipline is to study the theoretical principles of methods and acquire practical skills in calculating the regulatory value of agricultural, settlements and non-agricultural lands.
Future specialists will be able to use the acquired knowledge and practical results of land valuation to determine the amount of rent, the rate of compensation for losses of landowners, calculate the starting price of agricultural land, etc.
