Course description

The discipline “Marketing of Hotel and Restaurant Business” is a normative discipline for students majoring in 241 Hotel and restaurant business, a bachelor’s degree educational program. It is taught in 5th and 6th semesters in the amount of 5 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer System ECTS).

The curriculum of the course provides consideration of the basic concepts of marketing, elements of the marketing complex in the hotel and restaurant business.
The course presents an overview of the basics and principles of marketing, and tools for managing the marketing activities of hotels and restaurants.

After completing this course the student will be able to: arrange effective marketing of hotel and restaurant companies, organize marketing research, form a system of marketing activities, choose effective sales channels, use marketing communications of hotel and restaurant companies.
