Biography

Geographer, Ph.D. in Geography  (Ecological and geomorphological monitoring of Upper Dniester basin systems, 2008).

The Faculty of Geography graduate of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (1998), postgraduate (2003). Lecturer (2004-2009), since 2009 Assoc. Prof. of Department of Constructive Geography and Cartography at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Author of 112 scientific publications, five of them are included in the Scopus and Crossref databases. 

Projects

  • From 1997 till 2005 – participated in the international German-Ukrainian project «Transformation processes in the Dniester River basin» under the auspices of UNESCO.
  • In 2007 – participated in the Polish-Ukrainian project”The introduction of selected elements of water management planning in concordance with Water DirectiveFramework based on the experienceof the catchment area of the UpperVistula”.
  • Scientific research on Chair of applied geography and kartography of Ivan Franko National University of L’viv: “Transformation of natural and economic systems of mining areas” (2008 – 2010), registration number: 0108U0095537
  • Participation in state budgetary theme “Ennnviromental, culture, socio-economic and geo-political security of the region: geographical problems (on materials Carpathian regions of Ukraine” (2010-2012.) Registration number 017U001359.
  • Participation in the scientific research work “Applied geographical research of transformation processes in local systems of Western Ukraine” (2011-2013).
  • Participated in a scientific project under the leadership of the WWF on writing Scientific and methodological recommendations for the preparation of the report of the environmental impact statement of small hydroelectric power station (2018-2019).
