Methodological Unit for Teaching Geography and Economics (room 7a) was established at the Department of Geography of Ukraine in 2001.
It contains more than 900 units of studying and methodological materials and means which can be used by the students when preparing for practical classes in methodology of teaching geography and economics as well as doing training practice at secondary educational institutions. Video lessons, the newest methodological textbooks, electronic texts of lectures in methodology of teaching geography and economics, multimedia textbooks for secondary school, electronic atlases etc are available for students and teachers at the Unit.

It is a basic unit for professional development courses at the  Institute of Postgraduate Education and Pre-University Training at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
